Automatic Backups

Share KeePass Passwords with your Team of multiple users

We recommend doing backups as often as possible, moreso in mission critical environments.

Always ensure your encryption string is backed up separately from your database, so that it can be recovered securely and successfully.

Enterprise, Versions 7.23+:

Community Edition / Earlier versions:

  • This functionality is not included by default:
    • Local Backups: Use a Task Scheduler or custom batch script
    • Network Backups: Create a WinSCP job and send using SFTP for off-site back up.
    • Use Powershell Stop/Start commands for stopping/starting the service on the Password Server.
